I’m Karen Cordle
A Senior HR-Generalist Lead with focus on HR business partnering, organizational and people development, operations and recruitment…my motto “Geht nicht, gibt’s nicht!”
My journey in the people business started actually way back when as a very young girl I ran a dog boarding business to finance my hobbies and save money for college- fast forward a few years later – my life took a different turn when I decided to stay in Germany after my bachelors and then at university in Marburg, Germany where I majored in an interdisciplinary advanced studies program in the areas of education, psychology, sports and medicine and started working as corporate trainer. Turning my love for the arts and my avocation as a dancer into a source of inspiration and resource for my work with people. Just keep moving.
I am personally a real nerd, a serial entrepreneur, a parent, a trusted expert, an avid sports and nutrition enthusiast, passionate about people, health, education and mindfulness and deeply committed to bringing those concepts and ideas into the workplace to promote a happy, healthy, thriving culture. Making the world a little bit better place. I bring extensive experience in entrepreneurship with the operation of my own business, work as an HR consultancy furthering strategy and operations in learning and development, tech recruiting as well as general management in a wide variety of industries from medical devices, steel, utilities, banking and finance as well as fashion and fintech to the management table. I collaborate with a variety of start-up organisations from early stage to scale ups in various leadership roles in people and organisation to translate product innovations, tech platforms and brand focus into a vibrant and engaging culture to bring organisations up to the next level in all areas of talent, development, leadership and personal growth.
